Private lessons
One-on-one lessons in reining and ranch riding for youth, amateur and non-pro riders, on your own horse.
Clinics
Two lessons a day of 30–40 minutes each, at your barn or a host facility. Great for groups and riding clubs.
Show coaching
Warm-up, pattern prep and ringside coaching at the show, so you go in prepared.
Equine consulting
An honest evaluation of your horse, a plan you can follow at home, and help mapping out a show season.
About
Iris Austin
Iris has more than 30 years of international experience across reining, ranch riding, all-around, hunter/jumper and Thoroughbred racing. She has trained in Austria and California and has run her own program since 2000.
She is a multiple European and Austrian Champion with titles in AQHA, NSBA Europe and DQHA, a two-time APHA Reserve World Champion (Ranch Riding 2021, Ranch Pleasure 2023) and the 2021 ABRA World Champion in Green Ranch Pleasure.
Iris is based in Gainesville, Texas, and spends late summer and early fall teaching clinics and coaching in Europe. She teaches in English, German and Italian.
